@Vaknar, or whoever at Intrepid wants to answer, is there any chance you can confirm or deny that you currently are or intend to test and optimize for the Intel GPUs? Beyond your standard answer of "we are testing on a variety of devices etc etc" I mean.
That new Intel Arc B580 is looking like a great budget price/performance option, and their drivers have come a long way, but in the end it has to play nice with Ashes for it to be relevant for us.

We aren't in the optimization phase yet. The team is indeed always looking at new tech and what makes sense to implement and optimize for as we progress with development
Sure, but they've improved a ton with battlemage, that's what the reviews show. They work well with most games now. Sure, nvidia is definitely ahead in the driver department, but nvidia is ahead of AMD too when it comes to drivers. Intel Arc might not be fully mature until the next Celestial series releases, but they've specifically fixed performance for UE5 games with Battlemage.
The problem with the Alchemist series is the execute indirect bottleneck in UE5, which affects things like nanite. Battlemage doesn't have that issue anymore due to hardware changes and native support.
I think you misunderstand my point then. Or I am being very unclear. I am not saying go buy B580 for Ashes. I am asking if the devs are going to look into the intel GPUs now that the worst issues with UE5 are fixed. People will be buying them based on those reviews now, and some of them are probably A2 players. Perhaps "optimize" wasn't the best word I could have used though. "Playable" or "non-crashing" is more what I was going for

Intel seem to be more reliant on game developers optimizing their game than NVidia or AMD are, and they are also absolutely not in any position to optimize their driver for a game that isn't even released.
When Intrepid do get around to optimizing, them putting some work in to Arc would probably be a good thing.
