Removed my criticism as I was uninformed when I originally posted it, and improvements have been made since then.

I think it's just an issue with how important Copper is to upgrading, well basically anything. And everyone in the game is looking to mine it because there's no real content in an Alpha besides gathering and grinding mobs. Then there is the servers being jam packed way past capacity for how small the map (currently) is.

They may not address the node respawns until they add another server / more content or balance what resources can be used to upgrade stuff.
