Game closes on "Connecting..." No error message pops up

I was playing yesterday, I don't know what happened.

I have since tried the following
reinstalling C++
reinstalling the game
the repair button
updating my drivers

if I close the launcher while the game is starting the connecting splash screen lingers a bit longer before giving an error 31

Try setting the launcher and patcher's properties to run it as administrator. Just had this problem occur today after the patch and that fixed it.

Same here.
I have repaired, reinstalled, rebooted, uninstalled then reinstalled.

I click "launch game" and the launch screen comes up "Waiting for game" and then it disappears. No error message. Unable to do anything.

Running as administrator did not work and the same thing happens when running the client on it's own. Splash screen then *poof*
