Caravan can not deploy after game crash during location selection

I had a game crash while choosing a location for the caravan to deploy. The caravan is now not in my inventory. The caravan master is locked saying that the caravan is deploying. I didn't click into choosing a deploy location before the game crashed so it doesn't seem to be actually deploying.

    Update: After the server reset, I talked to the caravan master again and the caravan item reappeared in my inventory. Before the reset, the same action didn't have this same effect.
