Dissmount Teleport Bug

I was running with my horse northwest of my Grave near the water. I jump down off a cliff there, pressed F to dissmount and instantly got teleportet at the place where i am in the Screenshot

Yeah this happens periodically. You can notice that it is about to happen if there are no mobs appearing around you.

I thought at first that it was only happening to return you to where you got on to your mount, but I noticed that it happened once at a spot that I got hit by a mob.

Basically, this is just me speculating, but I think that what is happening is, that sometimes it's updating your mount's position when you move, but it's not actually updating your character mob's position. I assume that's why mobs stop spawning, because as far as the server is concerned, you're actually [way over there], and so it doesn't need to show you the mobs where your mount is. Then you get off your mount, and you teleport to the place the server thinks you are.
