    Life steal is not necessarily an actual heal because its a proc and not a trigger. Though, life steal could be affected under healing received as healing received is not based on proc/trigger but on application of effect.

    No it's not, the way it works is your life steal rating will give you a %life steal based on your damage done

    If you have 20% life steal, you then have a 25% chance to heal 20% of the damage done, so more or less 5% of your damage becomes life steal, right now it's not worth using, even with extreme ratings

    Life steal ignores that zombie debuff that prevents healing so I'm 99% sure it's not.
