"No Signal" Black Screen - Hard PC Restart Required
When playing, my monitor randomly goes black and displays a "No Signal" message. PC sounds and Discord voice chat remain active, but I lose all video output and must perform a hard restart to regain functionality.:
Frequency: The issue occurs randomly (as far as I can tell), but limiting the game’s FPS to 30 - 60 extends playtime to a few hours before a crash. Higher FPS settings cause crashes within an hour or two. I've started to identify that my PC fans ramp up to max speed before it happens.
Symptoms:
Monitor displays "No Signal."
Audio continues without interruption.
Unable to return to the desktop or regain video output once it happens.
Requires a hard restart of the PC to resolve.
No other noticeable triggers or error messages appear before the issue occurs.
I have sent my logs to support but they mentioned to add a post to forums. I did originally post about this in the ""[Bug Hunting] GPU Crashes and Running Out of VRAM" post, but that was unpinned about a month ago.

Took a break for two months. Came back and run into the issue after about 30 minutes. See you in another couple of months
First we need to find Gaminput services You will see that one is located in your C:\Program Files (x86)\microsoft(is where i found mine) folder, and the other is located in C:\Windows\System32 folder. With your explorer app of preference open both folders, find the executable (GameInputSvc.exe) and hover over it with your mouse. In a second a window will appear. Look at the creation date of the executable. I'm almost 100% certain that the one located in your Program Files (x86) is the the old one (creation date around beginning 2023)
Then search in your search bar bottom tab not on file explorer - installed apps system settings. You will see Microsoft Game Input listed there. The date is somewhere around Feb/March 2023, so this one is old.
Click uninstall !
Then you will see that the executable in the Program Files (x86) is removed. If there are leftovers just manually remove them (delete the complete Microsoft Gameinput folder - you will probably get a warning so you must delete this as administrator)
Restart your PC, search services and only 1 Gameinput will be listed there. If the service is not started, right click start, then right click properties set it from manuel to automatic start, and finally start the service.
I have a 3090, when I did this my gpu usage was no longer hitting 100% nor my CPU. I found this on a thread when looking possible crashes. Seems like this is the issue.
