Crashing on launch after black screen
Click launch game and it goes to black screen for 10-15 seconds and then crashes.
Have attempted to follow the steps of uninstalling/reinstalling/repairing the Microsoft Visual C++ Distributable x64. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling the launcher and the game on both of my Nvme SSDs(1TB/2TB).
I was able to run the previous alpha 2 but can't on this one.
My PC specs are:
-Ryzen 9 3900x
-Nvidia Geforce 3090
-NVME SSD(1TB/2TB)
-64 GB Ram

Here is my post from discord
deleting this folder should fix it, it will reset all your preferences in game though and keybinds.
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\AOC\Saved\SavedGames\
This has fixed it for a lot of people that have your issue. There is another method that can save your settings below
i "think" you can just get rid of this file which is the culprit and keep the rest of your settings and ui. if deleting that file alone doesnt fix it delete the whole folder.
"C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\AOC\Saved\SaveGames\GeneralSettings.sav"
Note: you may need to enable "View hidden items" to see the "appdata" folder
Below are links to two posts with some screenshots to help. If I remember I'll repost it here with a bit better formatting.
