Game switching to second monitor

I switched from windowed fullscreen to fullscreen. Upon alt-tabbing, the game moved to my second monitor. Windows also identifies the second monitor as "Number 2". To get the game back on monitor 1, I need to go to windowed mode. Strangely, it then shows up on monitor 1 automatically again. It will stay on monitor 1 until I alt-tab again, which then moves it to monitor 2.

Expected behaviour:
Changing fullscreen/windowed leaves the game on monitor 1.

Same issue. This is a painful issue because the game stability is better for me in Fullscreen rather than Windowed Fullscreen.
