My gaming laptop (Acer Nitro 5 Intel core i7 10th, Nvidia RTX2080) couldn´t keep with the extra pressure on my GPU and is dead now. It overheated during normal playing of AoC and stopped working. I opened it and cant see any visible damage. I don´t think it will pay off to try to repair it. I don´t think that there is any other plausible explanation other than running the AoC. I could previously observe clear excessive increase in temperature and usage of GPU and CPU during running Aoc which disappeared after I closed the game. I guess I will wait until game is more optimized before I try it again.
I managed to get lvl17 and 25 cleric, lvl 13 bard, lvl 10 mage and lvl 17 rogue and lvled most of professions to apprentice lvl. I hope you will be able to use those data to further improve the game.

    Heat failure would have occurred with any game you were pushing, it just happened to be AoC.

    Maybe. I haven´t had problems with STALKER 2 or Baldur´s gate 3.

    I don't think so, ashes is extremely un optimised to the point it is damaging to alot of computers, especially laptops
