River Stalker's Gloves Broken?

I'm playing a Vaelune Ranger, and whenever I try to wear the River Stalker's Gloves my character model disappears and turns into a piece of chest armor lying on the ground (can jump but do nothing else).

I've reported the bug, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem? Do you know if other types of gloves will result in the same thing?

The first time it happened when I wore the River Stalker's Gloves that you can get in exchange for quest coins. But then I tried making my own River Stalker's Gloves and the same issue happened, so I know I can't wear River Stalker's Gloves specifically, I just haven't had the chance to try any other types of gloves.

Same. I am currently running around barefoot because if I equip my shoes it does the same to me. This was an issue with whichever piece was the last or 2nd to last piece of equipment I equipped.

That's interesting! My gloves were the second to last piece of equipment I put on. I still didn't have any bracers, and wearing bracers didn't cause any issues.

Do you know if using a different type of gloves would fix it (like the Bear Hide Gloves instead of River Stalker's Gloves)? I would hate for my character to be eternally barehanded!

Just encountered this- finished River Stalker set, the boots are the final piece I needed.
I was able to equip the 2nd Sword Division boots in its place for now, it doesn't bug out. But I lose my 8-piece set bonus. But at least you can equip something else!

@ouiijjii yeah I'm also using the 2nd Sword Division Gloves for now, but am also using 3 pieces of Bearhide which means I only have 4 pieces of the River Stalker's so am not getting the juicy 5-piece set bonus.

Bearhide is so much better than River Stalker's, but now I won't be able to get the 5-piece bonus on my armor until LW stations are built and I can make the rest of my bearhide armor pieces to get the set bonus.

It sucks that I'm stuck on only the 3-piece bonus. As a Ranger I really need that 5-piece bonus for the 10% Stamina regen.
