These are the update notes for changes to the Alpha Two that went to testers on Thursday, May 29, 2025

As a reminder, if you come across bugs during Alpha Two testing, please report them to us in-game using /bug


HIGHLIGHTS
  • Jundark Nodes are now available! Arisalon, Hecribba, Mythbreak, Tangled Post, Vinebreach, and Wildport have been added
  • Freeholds are now available in the Jundark


KNOWN ISSUES
  • Reviving at the Jundark Trading Post Emberspring can get characters into a bad state or stuck underground
  • We're aware of missing Caravans and storage related to the Jundark Trading Post, and the team is investigating now
  • Processing fuel cost and processing time changes in the 0.11.0 update aren't intentional, and the team is investigating now
  • Guild War Defector’s Declaration and Fishing Declaration Scrolls have been disabled temporarily while we investigate issues
  • Raiders of the Cursed Archives quest from the The Hounds of Golgora questline has issues we’re currently investigating


ALPHA TWO UPDATE NOTES 0.11.0 - THURSDAY, MAY 29, 2025

CHARACTER, ARCHETYPES & COMBAT
  • Physical Block Mitigation stat has been fixed to work correctly
  • Arrowstorm, Heartseeker, and Concussion skills should trigger correctly during Shortbow combos
  • Deadly Extended Finisher attacks should now proc on the correct step of their combo attack
  • Spellbook weapon finishers should properly apply their proc effects as intended
  • Rogue Deathmark can only be triggered by the rogue that applied it
  • Poisoned status effect now has a visual effect that scales with the number of poison stacks on a target
  • Rogue weapons now have a visual effect that shows what poison they proc
  • Skill Tree improvements for skills with multiple ranks
  • Mount and vehicle abilities can now be found in the Skill Book tab, for mounts and vehicles that are active
  • Fixed a bug that allowed characters in stealth to be seen
  • Fixed bugs with Corruption in lawless zones

NODES
  • Jundark Nodes are now available! Arisalon, Hecribba, Mythbreak, Tangled Post, Vinebreach, and Wildport have been added
  • Freeholds are now available in the Jundark
  • Node Citizenship cooldown can now be seen in the Node window (press “N” to open)
  • Commission Board locations have changed to be in consistent places in all Nodes. In all Village (Stage 3) Nodes, Artisan Commission Board will be found in the Marketplace, and Adventuring Commission Board will be found outside of Town Hall
  • Citizenship Dues now countdown to the start of the “next tax cycle” opposed to incorrectly saying “next payment due”
  • Marketplace - Characters will now get a warning message that will let them know if they’re too low of level to list items in the Marketplace
  • Coastal Nodes should no longer have floating NPCs
  • Coastal Nodes should have the correct NPCs when they’re Encampments (Stage 2)
  • Improvements to the Node Summary Menu
  • Improvements to the Node Diplomacy Menu
  • Improvements to the Mayoral Node Treasury Menu
  • Node Storage is now marked with the icon of the Node, to make it more clear what storage is associated with citizenship

NODE SIEGE
  • Node Siege gates will no longer take extra damage from some AOE abilities
  • Node Siege banners should all be the correct price. Banners purchased for the much cheaper incorrect price will not be able to be used to declare Node Sieges

QUESTS, EVENTS & COMMISSIONS
  • Several new events have been added to the Jundark
  • The Shining Shield - The Salvageer will now have the option to get a new shield, to help characters that have abandoned this quest
  • Raiders of the Cursed Archives - Will now show the correct objective locations, and quest text has been updated
  • By Order of the Purifier - Characters must be level 5 to accept this quest, and added map locations for this quest
  • King of the Sands - Fixed a bug that prevented this Commission from updating when scorpions were killed
  • Igneous Uprising - Fixed a bug that prevented this Event from updating when Trembling Stones were killed
  • Scorpion Charmer - Fixed a bug that prevented this Event from updating during certain steps when Amber Crawlers were killed
  • Wreck of the Jade Scorpion event should start correctly, and will no longer end early when there is still time left on the event timer
  • The Ravenous Isle - Fixed a bug that prevented this event from starting

CARAVANS
  • Caravan Rafts - Fixed a bug that prevented some characters from recovering a Caravan that was in deep water
  • Cargo Commodity visuals have been revamped

WORLD & DUNGEONS
  • The Brig - Characters can no longer get stuck inside rock walls near the entrance of this pocket dungeon
  • Bloomed Maw pocket dungeon has had lighting improvements
  • Fixed several holes in the ocean floor, near Shorefoot
  • Tightened up the barrier on the western edge of the world to prevent adventurous swimmers from deep sea swimming off the edge of the world and into the void
  • Heat shimmer visual effect should be visible during some times of day in the Sandsquall Desert

ECONOMY & ARTISANSHIP
  • Flax Mulch processing can now be processed in batches, like other mulch recipes
  • Fewer Huntable NPCs should spawn near Sandsquall Desert Nodes
  • Coconut gathering will now give the appropriate amount of Lumberjacking experience
  • Bear drop tables have been fixed, so their drop rates of carcasses and trainable animals is correct
  • Dragon Tree mulch now has the correct item icon
  • Banyan Trees should fall over correctly after being chopped down

USER INTERFACE
  • Items can now be linked in chat! To link items, hold Shift and your right mouse button to get the link item option. Mouse over items in chat to see stats
  • Floating text will show “Resist” or “Immune” popups when an effect is resisted or a target was immune. Resist and immune will also be shown in chat logs
  • Weapon attack damage should always popup as white numbers (or as the normal hit color you have set in options)
  • Ability attack damage should always popup as yellow numbers (or as the crit hit color you have set in options)
  • Critical damage popup number is now be followed by !
  • Target of Target keybind now works
  • Skill Tree and Building Tab UI improvements
  • Global UI Scaling now works as intended
  • Buff and effect icons should display in the correct location and size in the UI, regardless of how someone has set up their widgets in the HUD Editor
  • Nameplate options (under Interface in Options) have been updated
  • Some Lawless Cargo Commodities have updated icons
  • Additional updates to many in-game icons

GENERAL
  • Respawning at your home Emberspring location now has a two hour cooldown
  • Resurrection will now have a different popup window than revive
  • Lens of the Ocule now has stats
  • Horn of the Great Herd can now be equipped correctly in the off-hand slot
  • Weary Constructor no longer drops double loot
  • Fixed a bug that could cause characters to become invisible and unable to move after teleporting
  • Guards should no longer have a quest icon over their heads when they don’t have a quest
