All I would be doing is echoing the sentiments of everyone else on these forums. It might get upvotes, it might get a a chorus of fellow exhausted nerds commenting their agreement, but it wouldn’t actually reach anyone who doesn’t already agree with me, at least it feels that way. That is the biggest problem I have with this whole process intrepid has cooked up. Even if they ARE reading our posts and getting our feedback, it FEELS like they aren’t. That is a huge issue. I noticed it a while back and it didn’t bother me too much at the time. I thought okay, these forums are flooded with posts and comments, it surely would be a waste of resources to engage with everyone. But then forum engagement started to slow. Less and less people were engaging and the same feedback started to pop up more and more frequently, but despite this we still didn’t really get much from intrepid. I thought we’d have a No Man’s Sky situation where intrepid is listening, but keeping their heads down because they are hard at work implementing player feedback and just don’t have updates yet. I no longer think that’s what was happening. With every major phase this game has gotten less fun. With every major update the grind has increased, the rewards are harder to achieve, and the systems make less sense. Everyday this ever shrinking group of passionate players bangs their heads on their keyboards in frustration. We’ve been here since the beginning saying the same things over and over again, but despite this we not only receive silence, we receive game updates that are in direct opposition to our desperate attempts to give feedback. The people who are left playing this game and posting in these forums are here because they care. Not because they are having fun, but because they believe in the potential of this project. Intrepid, please utilize the few fans you have left. Don’t waste time and resources bringing in new opinions when you won’t even take the time to engage with the feedback you’ve been given. I know you can do better.
