Rebinding [E]
Default key [E] - 'Weapon attack' (Tab combat?) and 'Target hard lock' (Action combat?)
What is currently ONE key, needs to be rebound as TWO.
Manual rebinding of [E] cannot currently use the same key - conflict means that it will delete whichever function you've attempted to bind it before - you can have 'weapon attack' or 'target hard lock' but not currently both.
Theoretically there is no clash to rebind them both to the same different button, you've done it.
I assume because theoretically it's the combat mode you're [,] toggled into that affects how it works.
Rebinding two 'functions' to one key is possible, both 'sit' and 'descend', just not the [E] functions.
I could pick a playstyle and stick to it, but I doubt you would have included an easy [,] toggle for combat types, unless you understood yourselves that sometimes you just want to flip depending upon situation.
Yes, I have to rebind (I've not used a qwerty set up for more than a decade, and reaching over to locate the button, is rather absurd ('e' is button [k] on a colemak layout).
Yes, using a gaming mouse would be preferable over it all (I'm holding off on buying one, until I work out if I'm going to be spending significant time invested in an mmorpg again.)
Yes, I can find another spare key on the keyboard... but right now, you've only got [H] unbound in the main keyboard, and beginning to stretch out keys onto the edges isn't anyone's first thought..... ("Hmmm, I know, I'll rebind my character button to [#] because THAT's easy to remember)
It just feels as a player, an unnecessary pain, it seems a basic function.
Anyway, thanks.
EDIT: Also - please review your 'key' names and ensure consistency... is it 'toggle hard lock' or 'lock tooltip', (If they have different functions - how about you help us to see the difference) 'weapon attack' or 'weapon combo' right now I feel like there's a bit of unnecessary guesswork over what is what. (It will give me a 'that will unlock ....' and use a different name for something I then find it difficult to locate.
Can I also check. If you can show 'interact 3' is basically 'mount', and I can find that 'interact 4' is 'target nearest enemy' what you are currently using 'interact 2' for.... because I don't fancy rebinding something that I should be using.
EDIT 2: Just fyi: [N] is described in three separate places as 'node window', 'Settlement window' and 'node ui'
