Welcome to The Endless Host! We are a small guild created in 2015, in preparation for Crowfall, which we played till the servers went down.
The Endless Host is a casually hard-core guild. We embrace the grind and love to compete, but I don't care to coerce anyone into a playstyle they don't enjoy. We are an adult guild, with jobs, spouses, kids, etc., and don't have time for stressing anyone out over a game. We play to hang out and have fun (general nerd content).
I emphasize fair play and respect. Sometimes emotions get heated in competition, and getting upset is going to happen. In those situations, I fully expect us to not only avoid creating a toxic or hostile environment, but to actively work toward making the game space a place that's positive. Lose with dignity, and win with grace (and maybe some playful sh!t talk).
As the guild leader, I have been gaming for 30+ years (D&D , boardgames, and such), starting my MMO PC gaming with UO in 1999 before joining the U.S.A.F. I’ve played most mainstream MMO's, from WoW onward, and played exponentially more games that aren’t MMO’s. I am a Game Master for tabletop, and it's important that everyone in the guild feels welcome and comfortable to be themselves. Yes, that means LGBTQ and pronouns are respected here.
I have been playtesting Ashes since Alpha 2 Phase 2, and I am optimistic, given what has been delivered so far.
While I'm not going to infringe on anyone's playstyles, we gather in guilds to be able to get the most out of games such as these. So I, and those given officer duties, will try to coordinate the guild's Economy presence by given members access to information about who can gather/craft in what professions. We will also schedule group gameplay as best as possible, given we are adults with real lives.
If you'd like to be part of a small, friendly guild of gamers, we'd love to have you.
