Uninstalled Launcher - installed steam -- Wont launch with steam - unrecognized

verified files after install, nothing… I had installed on steam, logged in and made a character before i had to head to bed — was told to uninstall the old launcher — verified files and now this

edit…………. umm i closed the launcher and it had like a half second update…. it works now?

Did you uninstall the launcher BEFORE you downloaded or after? The problem is, there is a launcher within the files from Steam, so if you uninstalled it after, you might've deleted that one too
