And yours probably doesn't either!
For those who are unaware like I was (even after being on Steam for over 15+ years) if you get a product key for free, and yes, this includes our purchases through the AoC website during A 1-2 or earlier, you will get a "Product Received For Free" tag included with any review you leave for the game on the Steam page.
Others can review bomb the crap out of this game, but for someone like me who has played over the last year (on and off again) at each big update, and wanted to leave an honest and positive review with actual feedback, my review isn't counted to the total review score.
I've seen REAL honest progress with the game. At least 1 new zone, 2? new races, 2 whole new classes, more system updates then I can shake a stick at, and an addition of features I didn't even know were in the pipeline until I activated and played on Steam at launch. This doesn't include the countless graphical fixes, terrain corrections, game performance. It's all there, just being masked by a rough start. Partly because players waited to connect accounts until the day of, and partly because there should of just been more servers.
If you enjoy this game as much as I do, want to see it succeed, and have a few extra minutes, drop line to Steam support and voice your concern. You'll get a scripted response from someone in India named "Christine" within 24 hrs, but at least if enough of us say something, someone might notice.
We paid for our access. Our reviews should count. Good, Bad or mixed. Positive or Negative. Idiots with 0.1hrs that have never had to grind for anything in their entire gaming lives shouldn't have more sway over a games success then those of use who have put in time and effort, and didn't refund afterwords.
Good Luck on your grind.
Cheers and Fist Bumps
