Look on the bright side and be thankful

Hi everyone,

I haven't visited these forums in quite awhile and decided to log in and see how the early access is going.

I see all the posts complaining about log in issues and I am sure they will get this fixed soon.

What I would say is be happy this game has such a large following, so many mmo's these days barely have enough people playing them to keep them going. It is really incredible the huge demand this game has by people who want to play and live in this world they have created.

I bet a week from now it will be running smooth and easy to log in.

Just give them some patience and grace, its not easy when you have thousands and thousands of new players crashing your log in servers. They will get it worked out.

Ashes is really the last hope for the mmo industry so I'm happy to see there is such a huge amount of people interested in playing it. This is also why log in servers are blowing up because Ashes is so popular. They will get everything running smoothly soon but it may take a few days with so many new players.

Looking forward to seeing you all in game soon.

The following is not big. We haven't even hit the supposed 100k of A2 holders. Servers (mostly login and main site) are simply shitting themselves. And dynamic gridding seems to be failing too, considering that even people in not-so-populated locations still can't relogin normally.

I just gave up on Pantheon that barely still has 300 players at any given time playing.

If Ashes maintains 5k+ players it will be hugely successful in comparison to other new mmos that are out there right now.

I knew this game had a large following and the first week on steam is going to be chaos, I also know they will get it all smoothed out in a week or so.

I'm going to wait a week or two before I start playing and give them time to get it running well on steam.

Its important for gamers out there to know that Ashes is an important game, its been a long time since a western developer made a quality mmo game.

And the wait still continues. Maybe we'll get one once Ashes actually releases, though considering the amount of cut content, I'm not so sure.
