An urgent request to the devs, please bring controller support. There are now MANY gamers who play on controller, and not just a preference, but many like me who have physical issues using K&M and need to use controllers, or using Steamdeck. Having controller support should be a big priority. It will bring more players in to the game who will come for this very reason. It is also a long term investment as well, if you eventually want to port this game to console. Having controller support then figuring out how many skills should go on the gamepad balanced with how many skills there are, if done now, will be less hassle in the future.
Lastly I know even if in the beginning you said this game will be built for PC. Then we will see what happens. Yes back in the day PC = K&M.
but now in this modern age it is not anymore. Now as steam decks are becoming more popular, and the Steam console hitting the market soon. Gamers and consumers on PC will ask this PC game, is it compatible with my Steam deck? Is it compatible with my Steam console? Not to mention that the other PC popular MMOs have now made controller support standard. So I want to say it’s better to get it down sooner rather than later.
