In the quest In Good Taste, players are instructed to prepare a Blackberry Compote. However, after completing this step and traveling to the Master Chef, the request changes to “Please make a Blackberry Cobbler.”
These are two distinct dishes. A cobbler is a baked dessert consisting of a fruit filling topped with a biscuit- or pie-style crust. A compote, on the other hand, is a soft, saucy fruit preparation commonly used as a topping for pastries, pancakes, yogurt, or ice cream.
