When attempting to load the game after last night's patch. Is anyone else getting this error?

I have verified I am logged into the correct Steam account and Steam is running fine.

Yup my buddy gifted the game to me this morning, and im getting the same notification. i cant even link my steam account under the Account Connections section, the option isnt even there. But thank god the discord link is?

There was an update ~ 9 hrs ago. After patch there was a different error regarding some files in the game's Steam library. It's posted on this forum with a fix. I am not aware of any updates since then.

Looks like I was just able to log in.

is reporting websocket errors, and says the entire Steam store, community, and web API are offline. SteamStat page views are also jumping up, which is a pretty reliable indicator that something's gone wrong.

Weird thing is some of my games work thru steam and some don't.

I just finished downloading the game at about 2pm. I did manage to get into character creation 1 time, but the character model disappeared and every time I've tried logging back in, I get this message and Steam is obviously messed up (store and community pages wont load).

We will be patching a fix to the launcher shortly. This will require a restart of the launcher. Please standby, I will announce when the patch to the launcher is available.

A launcher fix wont work for steam users, unless you put in some type of bypass based on previous logins. If not steam players will have to wait for steam to come back online.

just had success spamming the login button and cancelling the steam notification about 10x

once your steam account is first verified, should not have to verify it every time. that is just wrong. especially when the game is launched through steam….
