Graphics in the game is veeery bad (The game could be from 2010)

What turns me off from the game right now is really the horrible graphics. I hope they do something about this soon.

Graphics is ofc not everything, but I could aswell go back to Dark age of camelot. That game being over 20 years old and the graphics would still be more pleasing.

But.. Thats my take.

its on steam and been 9 years , give up the "alpha excuse" but even then there is a difference between having unpolished stuff vs fucked up body proportions and ugly faces and diseased skins done on purpose

graphics are ok, I rather mechanics over graphics, there is a reason old games are still full of players, UO outlands for example, warhammer online and others, I am not saying do not work on candy graphics, but first work on mechanics then when game is fun and finish, then polish the graphics….

No the graphics are not even okay. But thats not even the big problem. Most other mecanics lvling/Questing etc is not good either. So you should at least have some aspect of the game being much better then others out there. If you got none this does not look good for you to get players to the game in my opinion.

Some has said if this game will get released in a somewhat okay state it's still minimum 3 years until that will happen. I absolutely agree.

Please let Larian studios do an MMO like this instead imo. Well they made BG3 and I Early acessed it for 2 years before release. Even at it's early stages I had no complains. Because it was great from the start. I played the Baldurs gate games back in the day and they did everything right and better. Ashes tries to do something. Im not sure what it wants to be, but as of now in Early acess it does not really fullfill anything in my opinion.

if you promise to much and end up not really fulfilling anything. Thats a developer issue.

When I would rather play a game thats about 25 years old and I like more or less everything better, then I know. you need to do better and if not. Give the game out for free.
Early access. this is Having people test your game so you can improve it from a very poor state. Okay 1 dollar cost sure. And if you ever get it to be an impressive game you can ad an montly revenue np.

There goes the minimum pc requirement to run the game that’s a large base you will lose just to get slightly better graphics in an MMO

In old streams and footage the game looked a lot better then what we are actually playing right now. I heared it said that this is because they haven't locked in the UE5 Version they will have for the final build, therefor always chainging to the current patch of UE5, ruining some of their work. Once you are Version locked in an engine, you start optimicing and the like within that patch of the engine. I think the graphics will be fixed and optimiced at that point. That is the hope. TBH, with the lack of care the world in general received, i have my doubts that this will be anywhere near the priority list right now.

Honestly, as long as it continues to perform well and the systems come together cohesively in the end, I will bite my tongue on the grafix. That said, if it doesn't look better at release we should riot.
