Dungeon Drops

This has gone haywire. If you ever played Everquest, the inspiration for this game, you dared to go to the deepest dungeon to get the best drops. Now you hammer rocks and trees. Please, for the Love of God, give drops to the most difficult parts of the deepest dungeon as the best gear. Not Recipes. I hate this. This is so far from what everquest was. At least give us back epic quests and rare drops . This is so fudging boring!

I got a very rare, epic/legendary Drop once - in Phase 1.

It was a bow. It was in fact SO. STRONG. for a LvL 1 to 10 Item → that it was almost as strong as a White/normal-Quality Item of LvL 11 to 20. And it was a good 50% stronger than any other Bow of the same kind. That felt really cool.

And i didn't sell it. 😁 i gave it to a new Hunter/Ranger-Player which came out of the Start-Portal Building in Aela and who was insanely happy right away. 😎

I agree, there should be a bit more incentive to run the end tier raids/dungeons otherwise someone could literally have the best gear / weapons just farming materials everyday and never step foot in a difficult scenario

Oui, je ressens totalement ça. Toute la boucle risque/récompense est à l’envers maintenant. EverQuest était brutal, mais c’est justement ce qui le rendait mémorable : tu t’enfonçais loin, tu te faisais écraser, tu apprenais, et quand quelque chose tombait, ça avait une vraie valeur. Le meilleur équipement venait https://juliuss.fr/ des endroits les plus dangereux, pas du fait de couper des arbres ou de grinder des recettes. L’artisanat avait son rôle, mais ce n’était pas le jeu.

La disparition des quêtes épiques et des drops rares en donjon tue complètement le sentiment de danger et de récompense. Si le contenu le plus profond ne donne pas les meilleures récompenses, il n’y a aucune raison d’y aller — et c’est là que la magie meurt.

A way this could be potentially solved, is make it so recipes are in the end game dungeons and can’t be sold on market places, that way people who just want craft can still do so until they start doing the harder content to get better crafting recipes
