Open World PVP is awful, here's why...

Here's my experience of world pvp: I'm hunting, been clearing mobs for hours, and someone wants to run in and take the hunt. This should be the moment. It should be great. I want to defend my work, and someone just wants to take it! So, I get ready, aim…hold down the force attack button… as they stare at me…I kill him. He did nothing. Now I'm corrupted and two people come and kill me and take my gear. Really?! That's it?! That's the open world pvp experience?! I'm sad and sick. This is embarrassingly bad. There's no engaging combat, just weird game trickery.

I think corruption should be for lower level players, I don’t see why a level 25 killing another level 25 should give instant corruption

At least make it like 2-3 people, or give us some sort of Arena or something to do or test skills out, once ya max geared there’s literally nothing to do

This one at least, even has a solution, even if it isn't 'simple'.

If you're fighting something you should be able to 'flag blue' (idc the color) so that anyone who also does that and attacks the same mob can now fight you, maybe even just 'for as long as the mob is alive'.

Trying to keep this system this simple isn't seemingly helping anyone.

As a new player it makes no sense, feels completely unfair, and is really just some weird game of being trixy with a system to abuse new players who don't understand. I am done playing this game for the rest of this alpha and may not be coming back.

Unfortunately, the answer is to whittle them down and let mobs kill them. To be tricky back at them…

The system needs work and I assume it will happen. On one hand you need to protect those who are leveling but 25s v 25s should be more free to engage.

Without naming all of them, there are many ways that system can be exploited by using workarounds. Which qualify a such system as WEAK. You can patch it and modify it all you want, if people with bad intentions want to use those workarounds, what is Intrepid going to do?

On one hand, it is their fault, so can't blame the player for "using" it.

On the other hand, this is clearly abuse of a system to your benefit, but to the detriment of others, which could be qualified as griefing.

To be frank, I am ok with any PvP and learn to deal with those imbecile players working around the system, but I know this will push away a HUGE amount of potential subscriptions…

Hey Steven, you want PvP? You want friction? At what cost?
