MMO-RTS or MMO-RPG ?

The more I think about games like caesar and civ and the myriad other city building simulators. The more I feel that Ashes is imply a massive mutiplayer version of that same genre. Trying to build a city in various stages of completion with enemies at the door. Considering how crucial the religious, ecomonic, etc.. aspects of node development is.

So would you call it a Massive Mutiplayer Online Real Time Stratagy game or a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game ?
And is this kind of hybrid actually a new breed of MMO or something we lost on the path ?

    Since you are going to spend most of your time playing a character who covers a role, it is a role play game. The strategy is a consequence. :)

    And there are a huge number of people who will be roleplaying, as well as others who only care about pvp and raids and dont care about the development of nodes as much.
