Is there a way to get the new cosmetics and such as addons like the kickstarter people are able to? I would like to purchase some things but I didn't know if there was a way to just upgrade instead of buying a whole new pack.

Yes, you should be able to purchase pre-order pack cosmetics on the cosmetic store. Make sure to login to your account when viewing the store and you should see cosmetic items there you can purchase
