Its a cool idea, it would be sick.

Maybe you could do it like...An ent reaching the end of its lifespan whom the elves were on good terms with goes on a journey with them to help settle a new land and watchover them in death B)

Then we get the bonus of getting cool faces on the tree bits and stuff
