There is more than enough anticipation to see what Ashes of Creation will be. I'm happy for name swaps to take place but any other advantages should not happen. The fact that ur comparing views and viewers shows how little you know about the streaming community. IT IS NOT THE SAME THING. There is a HUGE difference between 70k viewers and 500k views, in that the 70k are viewers and not views. That is why twitch streamers are paid WAAAAY more than youtubers, because they have active viewers that view their content for a long period of time. Whilst it may look like 500k views is greater than 70k viewers, THAT IS NOT THE CASE. A 70k viewership streamer is comparable to a channel that rakes in millions of views a day. Not thousands. So it is not an accurate comparison. Did Lazy Peon play a huge role? ABSOLUTELY. He has been following this game for several years now. But has Asmongold played a huge role as well by reacting to Lazy Peon's content? Absolutely. You need both types of creators for a game to be truly successful. No. You don't 'need' them. They're helping, because they like the game. They're not 'needed' ... You need to look up the definition of the word 'need'. Listen. Im not going to try to explain anymore to a bunch of selfish pricks why streamers are important for any game anymore. If u have a brain and u are keeping up with the current times even remotely, you will understand how crucial they are. If you dont, then its ur problem.

A big world with no fast-travel for them to quickly get back to you. A big dangerous world, where this totally vulnerable naked/corrupted person is now running around. On top of that (let's pretend these are naked, despite the fact a naked wouldn't be a threat to you, for reasons I will explain soon), there is XP-debt which lowers the PvP power of a character to the point where they cannot PvP at all, as in ... they will not do significant damage and will likely die in 1 shot. Now for why 1000 naked level 1s cannot zerg a person. You could AoE them because they will all be combatants or corrupted... Also, body collision is a confirmed feature, meaning it will be very difficult for them to pile on one person without getting in way of each other. They could use ranged attacks but they're naked level 1s with ever increasing corruption ... Worst case scenario, let's say you start getting stream sniped by more powerful players. The anti-grief mechanics will affect them. It doesn't matter if they "don't care" ... It will still prevent them from griefing the streamer. And, most importantly ... It doesn't matter. You're totally backwards with your worship of streamers. The game doesn't need them to succeed, it's already fully funded ... and streamers need content, watching and participating in a raging streamer get sniped is among their most popular moments. And if all those people sub to a game, just to mess with one guy? That is way more people playing the game, many of which will stick around if they like it. That's better advertising for the game than any streamer could be. Ever. By far. As to the second part of ur point, it just goes to show how little u understand. These players DONT CARE. They dont care about their gear at lvl1. If a 1000 Low level characters want to kill the streamer, then it takes a 1000 streamer kills before they are all corrupted and the corruption starts to take effect. Can u comprehend that? Sure, dying in a massive 1000 man fight is fun for a few hours, but it gets old real quick as u cannot make any progress in the game. Hiding ur server name doesn't make any difference either as if one person gets wind of it, everyone else will as well.

The only thing I can suggest to you, if you are over the age of 14 (which at this point, seems unthinkable .. but just in case) is you really need to learn how to communicate without being toxic and you should probably take a break from obsessing over streamers. You're displaying some very worrying signs of poor mental health. The things you think matter, aren't that important. We were all there as kids, like you. Sometimes the thing you're into seems like the biggest thing in the world ... but it's not. The richest streamer has a networth of 20 million dollars. That's less than this game is going to cost to make (a game that is allegedly already fully funded). If the most successful, richest streamer in the world, with all his avenues of income including merch, etc has made that much money after a 10 year long career ... Do you really think it stands to reason they will generate even more for a game based off of whether they got stream sniped or not? Also, it's not like he's going to give his entire networth over to the game, or that 100% of his followers will play the game they play. Streamers stream. People will see the game and decide for themselves if they want to play it. Watch what happens when the game releases. If they dont do something to combat it, watch what i say, become a problem. Then u will reconsider ur stance on the topic.

We all get ganked in other games, it might not happen in Ashes but I bet someone will be ganked. Wow. You really don't understand anything do u? I'm not a streamer but i don't want a streamer that i like, playing the game, but not being able to enjoy it just because several hundred players are griefing him. What do u mean by "not give any reaction"? Are u stupid? How do u expect players to not react when they are constantly dying and not being able to enjoy the game? Ghosting is a relevant thing for almost every popular streamer, in almost every game they play. So its MUCH MUCH more relevant in a game with an open world pvp system. Streamers are crucial to any game in order to bring popularity for that game. Just look at just how much AoC gained from Steven interviewing Asmongold. His viewership was insane during the interview, near 70k. If a streamer like that comes to play ur game and has his experience ruined by constant pKs, it will reflect ur game in a negative light. Going to go ahead and report this thread for toxicity... Also I have a strong suspicion you're trolling and we're all taking the bait.
