It has always been there. There has always been people who want to get everything they can out of an MMO, people who want to be the absolute best, and people who will look for ways to exploit something. You see it more in todays technology but it has always been there. Just because if this is possible doesn't mean everyone will do it. Some guilds won't care and some players won't. Just like some will do it as often as possible. This is nothing new.
