Mount creation and customizations

I have a lot of questions about the level of control we will have when breeding mounts, but right now I just want to know, can we breed flying mounts? I know how rare they are and that only a few people can use them, but if a mayor was also had a high level in animal husbandry could they breed and customise new flying mounts? I dont know how it would work exactly but just the idea seems awesome to me.

Rare creatures can be captured and tamed to breed animals with specific traits.

Pets, Mounts and Livestock have unique traits that can be bred.

Gliding Mounts are different to Flying Mounts, so you should be able to breed Gliding Mounts.

Thanks that helps a lot I wonder if eventually they will add a way for max level animal cultivators to breed flying mounts though. Probably not but the idea is cool to me.

Well, they specifically don't want there to be too many flying mounts. That's why they're restricted to such a small number per server.

I doubt it, mostly because they've given the non-Monarch and non-Mayor Royal Mounts a temporary lifespan. Maybe if it was some ultra-rare mutation that could occur 1/100 times when breeding two specific Rare Mounts, and it was still temporary or something, but they're trying to restrict the number of Royal Mounts at any given time.

Breeding flying mounts implies that the offspring is alive while the parents are as well which increases the number of available flying mounts.

I suppose the system could be set to kill the parents when the offspring is created if it was really wanted.
