It doesn't get friendly and welcoming because 1, the game creates a toxic community, and 2, just because someone isn't welcoming, or friendly, doesn't make the game worse. Sometimes people will be friends and other times they will be enemies, it would be fun to see both scenarios in-game with open-world voice chat. Wouldn't it be more interesting for you to lob that amount of sarcasm over voice chat instead of text?
