Discussing a Tulnar

Wellcome all of you.
This thread is made for conversations about Tulnar race. Share your thoughts, ideas, concepts.
I honestly don't mind hosting even "kill all tulnar group", have your opinion, and you're free to express it here.
And I know this section is dead for a while, but after last livestream I'm so hyped, that I will become a freaking necromancer and raise it up again.

But because they are a mix of all the above races+ more minor races I do agree that other races will have to come first before they can properly show us Tulnar models. I can wait patiently. It is stated that they are supposed to be in the game before Alpha 2, and I'm more than satisfied with that.

I like your way of thinking, but my guess is the Tulnar will get their lore eventually. I don't think Intrepid team would be so lazy with the subject and tell "That race stands for honor, that one for order, and that last one... is just all od them combined."

I'm certain that they will! I'm looking forward to it and a lot of my character ideas will probably have some of their lore shift to accommodate it when it finally happens. When you look at the wiki, quite a few races honestly have almost no lore to go off of other than a tiny paragraph, 3 words, and some concept art. Tulnar are just at a point where we don't have as much concept art available for speculation unfortunately.

Depends whether they're near or far away. Nearby, an axe or a sword. Far away, probably an arrow or a fireball.

As was jokingly mentioned in previous "let's genocide the Tulnar race" threads, the only survivors, and therefore the only variation worth playing, would be a Leonin looking one.

That meme has always made me wonder... How do orcs know what a menu was... Were there orc pubs or restaurants in LOTR?

The only genocide I'd be participating is towards anime catgirl kind. That is, if they're possible to make(hope not).

Hmmm mind my paint skills, maybe blending an ape and a human together wasnt best option since thats basicly a rankai :P

Oh trust me, I like leonin. In fact, I'm currently playing one. But with possibilities that AoC offers with tulnar, just a leonin wouldn't be enough.

There are feline and bestial components that can be scaled up when creating a Tulnar character but Tulnar do not equal furries.

Catgirl and **** Tulnar are not able to be created

Tulnar do not equal furries, but there are definitely some bestial components that you can scale up when you're creating your Tulnar character, so you could max that setting I guess. Whether or not that would give you what you would think of as a furry, I guess it's going to be up to your interpretation of what a Furry is.

Yeah, I read it a few times. But my consern is that devs gonna recive some feedback from people that play final fantasy too much and then they'll tell "why not".

I play Final Fantasy XIV as my main game and have no issue with Catgirls. But they just don't fit this world, since it's based off of a Pathfinder game in which Stephen played. Plus you can't make humans with bits and pieces of animals. They will be very bestial regardless of what you choose.

Stephen will have no qualms telling people no about this point.

At least they're not looking to be furries like the Tauren, Vulpera, Pandaren etc. But real scary chimeric beings.

Mostly agree. But I think Tauren and Vulpera would fit more or less in AoC, and probably there will be some options to make the tulnar look more like mensioned above. Not what I'm looking for myself though, but I woudn't mind if there were some in the world.
