The red ones i would say are best for 2 trade metropolises

I disagree, the ocean PVP will be at its more hostile at the shortest points between the continents so I do not believe metros will bode well at those 2 red points

yeah but i think the big cities are pretty safe, it benefits everyone

What I mean is no ocean caravans will make it through the inevitable pirate barricade that will wait between so nodes.

your caravan is as protected as you can organize it.... thats vs a sea of Pirates players who are camping that route? My bet is on the pirates
