Just pencil but I edit them in GIMP after. The Shadow Lord wasn't that dark using pencil alone lol. I also clean up the backgrounds a bit depending on how messy it looks.

Looking good. I like the almost medieval style of illustration vibe they give. Could easily see them on a stained paper page next to a block of elaborate medieval text.
