Nothing special so far, a few cinematic combat moves that probably wouldn't work as easily in a multiplayer setting, but otherwise.

Caravans, 'Player Guild built towns', 'Improvements to systems', 'Better Narrative but same story and lore'.

"A new challenger has entered the ring!" I guess.

Surprised to see this one on Console but the Eastern market has a rather large benefit to doing this that is easily ignored.

Console is much harder to bot and slightly easier to catch people who do, as well as obviously more expensive to properly multibox, so players who are interested in level playing field situations might be drawn to Console play if they can keep the update quality/performance up.

Quite interesting cinematic trailer, can't wait for a gameplay video tho, certainly a game on my list of MMORPGs to checkout as someone who truly enjoyed Archeage 1, can't deny the nostalgia feeling i got from the OST on the trailer.

Sadly, Alongside Throne and Liberty, i predict it to be a P2W fiesta, but we will have to see.

Oh boy, this is either going to be really stiff competition for Ashes or not, depending on if Archeage devs and publishers have learned their lesson from past mistakes. Looks really good visually. Combat looks like typical Asian bullcrap to me, but that's not neccessarily a bad thing. Man, part of me loves the options that are coming for pvx/pvp mmos, and part of me wishes Ashes had the stage solo.

That combat does look good, but given ArchAge's history I'm skeptical.

Eh, we don't really get a sense of the combat flow at all from that video. Flashy and sometimes over the top animations, pretty graphics, but the way they cut the combat moves, I am willing to bet the actual ingame combat looks much less impressive in terms of movement and fluidity. Will be interesting to see though.

1. Massive p2w in combination with absurde equipment difference
2. destroyed economy through €/$-shops and bots
3. labour system (what a joke of system)
4. lack of content and new stuff

Nice graphics and camera control, the camera moves in a weight that brings weight to the impacts going on in combat

This has nothing to do with being good, this is kinda a Hollywood like stunt

I am impressed by the quality of the presentation, but I don't see anything in there that gamewise impresses me... I see "another beautiful Korean p2w"

What makes a game good is it's systems, good presentation brings people but they don't stay if the systems suck

Have you ever played AA? because if you have I seriously wonder wtf are you talking about? are you in doubt that Jake Song is incapable to create good systems? no one have moved the genre forward as much as this guy imo, so many of the things he did in AA is to this day the best we have ever seen on any mmorpg, either we are talking for open world housing/farming, or the trade run system (yes I know they ruin it at some point...), the naval content which remains to this day the best on any mmorpg ever, the list goes on & on, I can't believe that anyone who played AA is in doubt about how capable, creative & revolutionary this guy truly is, AA2 will be undoubtedly a game worth playing for years & I can't wait for the release day, if there is anything that worry me & I have a good reason to worry about this that's P2W, that's it, if they don't screw things up regarding this one thing then AA2 is going to be a huge success.

Honestly don't think this game is going t effect AoC imo, and inf act will most liekly die do to aoc. There isn't much information on it but my gut si telling me

1. Combat is going to be a lot simpler for the fact it is being meant to work with consoles as well in action combat. I feel like there hasn't been a reason given to make me think amount of skill wise will be that large.

In contrast to AoC that game has a lot more of a traditional mmorpgs feel to me based on what i have seen an the messaging.

2. Cash cow doesn't have a money bank right now, id exepct a lot of p2w stuff be in AA2 to very akin to BDO. Essentially i expect this game to be the next bdo as that game is going to be going into the grave soon

3. Lack of content, you can contrast the number of developers they have compared to IS. They have a lot of ambitious goals that hasn't been done by any Korean developer (their art looks very akin as im sure tis a small community of developers). So they have all these grand goals, but I don't think they are going to hit them by 2024

Unsure if this game will launch at that date i doubt it based on the trend of games, AoC will end up killing this game though so long as AoC is a good game with content in it.

AA2 is not BDO, BDO was not designed for console, but they put it on there.

Because one game does it does not mean another game will do it, again a game designed for consoles is not the same as a game designed for pc.

What im saying is a good guess, to think you are goign to get something complex without proof is especially letting the copium of a new mmorpg get to you. Which will only lead your expectations making the game into a disappointment. They literarily word the game as an action mmorpg....Until they show something else to keep your own expectations in check id assume things are going to be simple if you compare it to OG AA or other mmorpgs out there.. Just because it is simple doesn't mean it won't be fun btw.

Still think AoC will kill this mmorpg since p2w is trash and other reasons.

Well looking at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/most-played/games/xbox , a site which has the top 50 most played games on Xbox atm in order of population, BDO isn't even on there, so it can't exactly be doing well.
