On the left, top to bottom goes Your character and then your party members. And next to all of your names you have the buff statuses. This is the UI I'd prefer in Ashes. Big battles become super messy super quickly, so visibility of your mates in a crowd with be non-existent, while this UI feature would let you control your buffs perfectly.

Wish there is a hard cap. 3 Magical Buffs applied by players, 1 buff slot for any type of consumable and 1 buff slot from a quest/prayer/npc. Now things becomes more strategic, like a classic turned based RPG do you want attack buff? magical, melee or range? do you want physical or magical defense buff? do you want attack speed / haste buff? movement speed? Do you want MP or HP regen buff? Do you want STR, INT, AGI, WIS, etc specific buff? you're allowed only 3. Not every buff comes from 1 class. Some Enchanters (depending on secondary) may handle MP/HP Some Clerics (depending on secondary) may handle Physical Def, Physical Melee/Range Buff Some Bards (depending on secondary) May handle Haste, AGI, Evasion Some Mage (depending on secondary) may handle some magical attack/def Now you look at the comp you have, what resources you got and use them wisely. A Cleric/Fighter (aka Templar) may have Physical Atk buff but no Physical Def buff A Cleric / Cleric ( High Priest) may have Phy Def, but no Phy Atk buff A Cleric / Rogue (Sahdow Disc) has Phy Range Def buff A Cleric / Ranger (Protector) may have Phy Range Attack Buff A Cleric / Mage (Oracle) Magic def A cleric / Summoner (Shaman) Haste Rinse Repeat with Echanter / X, Mage / X, Bard / X

I was more meaning my buffs i put on others, as a healer i may have a shield buff and a dot heal (both with visual effects) i dont mean all possible buffs that everyone attaches.. but that would look cool in my eyes but im a junky for flashy colours.

Newer games seem to make buffs have a effect then disappear after some time. I just was wondering would it be possible to make spells stay visible til the effect wears off?
