Question About Raid Boss Loot Drops

I'm a fairly new player to mmorpg type games, I always enjoyed watching people play them but growing up I never really had friends who enjoyed that type of content. I've put a few hundred hours into games like eso, new world, and both destiny games, but never older games like wow or lineage 2, but from what I've seen from alpha 1 and from what I've seen watching wow is that when loot drops from raid bosses, everyone has to roll to get specific loot from the boss. After reviewing Alpha 1 gameplay it kind of seemed that same way with the raid bosses that people defeated as well. So my question is, will AOC have a loot drop system like that? Where everyone has to roll for the 5 or 6 drops of loot from the boss, rather than everyone getting their own loot?
