What happened to castigation though? That was an awesome skill.

Also, how are we going to recover mana now? Or will one of the other archetypes recover mana for the party or for a single player? Maybe the summoner or the bard.

Also, @StevenSharif @Steven Sharif @MargaretKrohn Steven said almost a year ago that we will see the secondary archetype augments stream very soon... it has been about 10 months! that's not very soon! ;(

Also, I know you aren't in the balance stage, but mobs feel like they take too long to be killed...

And will bard buffs, or buffs in general, be as necessary as they are in lineage 2?

The mana regen from Bless Weapon might be a good start, but I definitely hope to see more.

And I want mobs to be even stronger. That one moment where they almost died and Steven had no mana? I want that to be the usual state of majority of players, unless they're explicitly farming easy mobs.

oh right, i forgot about that skill. so only 2 mana regen skills so far then, mend and bless weapon. i kind of hope the summoner has a body to mind type of skill for party members, or a recharge like the elders in l2, and the bard an aoe mana regen skill >:

I don't remember hearing that at all.

I did ask that question once, and Steven did answer it along the lines of "we'll see augments in action in Alpha 2". Now that could be due to the poor wording of my question, but it also could be that we really won't see how augments work until Alpha 2, and that's probably going to be in some sort of a limited state as well.

I don't like managing mana that much, and for group play, I hope Bards could fulfill that role of mana regen bot.
I do like classes having their each resource thing on top of mana, and I do like that certain stronger abilities use the class resource.

yeah he said it around the same time we would see the tank showcase. he said we will see those 2 very soon.
but i think you are right, we wont see augments until late in alpha 2, im basing that on what steven said today about making sure the main archetype is ready first, and the summoner isnt ready yet and wont be at th beginning of a2 i think.

The sitting mana regen was quite fast compared to the standing/walking mana regen.

Yeah, mana pool and regeneration in the showcase was kind of weird, but it's not balanced yet. Not too concerned about it at this point. I just hope sitting isn't the only wait to significantly regenerate it.

I can't wait to start seeing classes, but not holding my breath. Trying to just be patient.

true, just hope there are ways to regen it in battle
