Resource harvesting question

I recall in SWG being able to scan environments to find the best possible quality of any given resource and then being able to construct automated harvesters/extractors. Will this system be found in Ashes. SWG had some fun resource gathering ideas.

Ok, thanks. Surveying appears to be similar, while extraction appears manual, where as SWG allowed for some automation options. Looking forward to AoC.
