You mean MMORPGs originally weren't designed for game sessions of less than 30 minutes. A lot has changed since then. Like the phenomenon of Endgame. Also, as MMORPG players age past 25, many only have time for game sessions that are less than 30 minutes (and you can expect game devs over the age of 30 to empathize). You can expect something similar to the APOC battle pass in Ashes. Seems unlikely that IS will be pushing retention extremes, but... we'll see.
