I will say in regards to sieges, picking a side to fight for is important. If you come in as in outsider with a zerg, there is potentially a high risk to attack other groups aside from corruption and flagging rulesets. Then add player collision into the equation it forces players to spread. Outside interference definitely has its own risks. IIRC, originally there was supposed to be a firewall barrier around the siege event to prevent non-participants from entering but it seems that may have changed since the move to UE5. That was quite some time ago.
