Maybe because Consoles are weak as Hell compared to the Power of Computers ? No hate, though. Every single Time since around 2005 or so, whenever i saw a VideoGame being a "Port"(?) between Computer and Console, i noticed how goddamn weak and trashy the whole Engine of the Game feels - as if instead the Game would be a genuine Computer Game. And when Games like Halflife 2 around 2004 or so, were superior not just in Graphics, but in "Engine", Ability and Capability too in what the Player could all do and experience in said Engine, compared to Console-Games around 2018 to 2020 and above - then i ask myself truly what the Point is for making Games half-assed as a PC-Version by also making them able to get played on a Console. Honestly. No - Hate. Just stating what i experienced in my Life. One of the great, few Exceptions of this -> was Skyrim. Modifiable. Changeable. Capable of being improved in every single Term. Something completely denied to the Console-Version of Skyrim, if my Memory is correct. Superior to the Console-Version in any form. Like the PC MasterRace is supposed to be. Ashes of Creation will be a gigantic Game, right ? Which kind of Console is supposed to run this ?? The Playstation Fifteen ?? Which comes out around +2100 when we are all gone and Dust ? Welp, IF Klaus Schwab and the WEF don't destroy and extinct Western Civilisation and VideoGaming before ... ... 😁 . 😅

The graphics in AoC is beautiful, but it isn't crazy good. If Throne & Liberty can handle porting to console, Intrepid could too. And I play ESO on console without no problem. But again, I will be playing this on PC So don't mind it either way. I do think consoles in general goes against the core belief of Ashes as it's not catering to casuals. Consoles gamers are more inclined to be casuals. Consoles are convenient, affordable and easy to plug in into your bedroom/livingroom tv without having to have a dedicated desk space. If you have a dedicated gaming PC, you're probably not a casual.

Keyboard hurts my my wrists after to long There wasn't any serious problem doing this in Alpha-1, for me, or anyone I know (at least four people who use just basic controllers). I hope that Intrepid offers a slightly different method for camera control, since I feel like Alpha-1 required a bit too much 'macro-like' configuration which might be a problem, but since it is not releasing through Steam or anything like that, we won't have as many options for it.
