I would have liked to see one of the humans be a male tank or fighter (either one) Otherwise it's fine - the races are all equally represented except for the sole Tulnar since that race isn't split into two. I prefer the other art style.

A lot of people - myself included - exclusively play male characters and like the aesthetics of a guy in armour, so it's tiresome when so many fantasy games are artificially swapping out depictions of men in such a role for women instead.

You are more than free to play a man in armor. I dare say you won't be anywhere remotely close to unique in that regard. Also has nothing to do with promotional art not featuring 'man' as the default. Criticize the art itself being questionable quality, because it is a pervasive style that's not appealing and lands right smack dab in uncanny valley, but all this whining about women in 'man roles' is just embarrassing.

Where did I suggest that I wasn't free to do so? It isn't 'whining' to leave feedback on a forum intended for that and especially not during an early access period.
Some of us actually quite like men and want to look at them, particularly in traditionally masculine roles. I fit into that category myself and I have seen it occur in a great many games in recent years, thus the desire to speak out against it when I see it.
