Add-ons

Will you guys allow addons to be a thing for the game? Currently the MMO's I play addons have ruined the game. It feels as though people are playing addons and not the game. I hope addons won't be allowed, so I thought I would ask.

Wow is butt. It needs mods to make it passable.

Makes no sense but alright. Add-ons just make a great game even better IMO and help the community.

thats why wow baseline is ass.

we want a game that is not designed around the addons people make for it.

It's also what makes WoW trash. I love add on for things like adjusting UI. Adding a theme. But games like MOB Boss make it so Blizzard needs to tune the raids and bosses to the use of these cools. It's more like follow hoops over learning a game. DPS meters are a huge game breaker as well.

I wish IS would put out a 5 min video about what this game is about. That would slow the roll of threads like this and let people that are looking for this old school, let them know they have a home. I'm on other game forums and when I cover things like no add ons, class interdependency, Heals, DPS, Tank and Support play style. 220+ hrs to level. Fans of that seem to have no clue.

Thats what made WoW realy bad personaly, lets have an add on that tell me everything i have to do in a fight so i dont have to think.
Like the amount of WoW players going to throne and liberty and crying cause WoW brain rot has set in and couldnt figure out the simple mechanics and got 1 shot by bosses over and over was astounding tbh

What this trash said ill wipe you all, and then everyone dies and people be like umm what just happened, i dunno maybe stun the mob so he doesnt do his wipe mechanic (trash mobs btw) lol

Ashes of Creation is going to break the WoW addon Andies and it's going to be great! Addons that call out when a certain mechanic is going to happen is a luxury yes but it cheapens the experience of REAL boss mechanics and dumbs down the fight so much so that blizzard designs boss fights to counter DBM. Good thing AoC hasn't got addons and thank you Steven for allowing Ashes to have Eye frames and actual fights where vision/position and skill is the common approach! Bring on A2!
