About Us

We are Overlord. Players that are strong on their own come together to be overwhelming. We seek highly motivated and self-sufficient players that share these goals and ambitions, and are willing to put in the effort to achieve them. We place great emphasis on quality over quantity. We will be a prominent force in the Ashes of Creation community.

350+ members in Alpha 2

Requirements:
- 18+
- Willing to put in 40+ hours a week at full release
- Must have a mic
- Alpha 2 access

Goals in Ashes of Creation:
- Server first end game dungeon and raid clears
- Server first city level node
- Owning and keeping a guild castle within our city ZOI
- Full economic control within at least our city ZOI
- Server first grandmasters in all artisan professions

Our combat guild will be going for the combat oriented goals above, such as raid server firsts and keeping a guild castle on full release. While our economic guild will be going for the crafting mastery server firsts, and controlling our ZOI auction house and economy on full release. Members of our economic guild are not required to raid, but will still need to pvp some, due to us needing to protect everything we earn as a guild.

Overlord has a very authentic vibe. Incredibly welcoming atmosphere and you won’t feel like just another number like the zerg guilds out there. GM Dracobringer is incredibly experienced and organized. He goes out of his way to speak to and get to know every member.

While I did not go through Alpha 1 with Overlord, I am so stoked to get to dive into Alpha 2 with them this year. One of the most appealing aspects to this guild is the organization and ongoing planning that has gone into prepping for Alpha 2 and launch. Members are competitive, driven and motivated to work together to meet guild goals as well as their own personal goals. This was an incredibly important factor for me considering the amount of cooperation that is going to be required to be successful.

If you are looking for a well rounded, competitive/hardcore guild with clear goals and want to be surrounded by a great group of people, look no further!

I’ve been with Overlord for almost a year now and the community is amazing! My reason for joining the guild was simply because Dracobringer knows what his goals are for the guild and how he wants to achieve them. Also that everyone is on the same page to meet those goals. I got to play along with the guild during alpha 1 testing and they were very organized, fun, and most importantly competitive! I’m excited to play alpha 2 this year in the guild to be part of some server first in game. If you are looking for your forever home, join Overlord I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Spent a few months looking for my home that would suit my goals for AoC. After a long search constantly reading guild recruitment forums and watching live streams, Dracobringer reached out to me knowing I was looking for a place to call home. Overlord certainly has my goals as their goals, and I really enjoyed the one on one conversation which lead me to making my final decision to join with Overlord. The guild management and members are fairly accommodating to various playstyles. PvE, PvP, Hardcore, Semi-Hardcore all having a purpose for themselves or the guild.

Great place to find a family in ashes of creation, guild is well organized, friendly and has members from a lot of different time zones so finding someone to run with at your play time should be a breeze. Members include all ages and has been very welcoming to this old retired guy.

Weekly get togethers( even when the game is not open) several smaller streamers to pass your time when not in game and several groups hanging put on other games until AOC launches.

How can you expect people over 18 (normally people with jobs for the most part) to put in 40 hours a week? I don't understand how that's even possible unless you literally don't sleep, in which case you might be able to live for maybe a week or two before actually dying irl.

This will separate those guilds who are hardcore from those who are not. This is an expectation at launch and will not be expected permanently.

40hrs = ~5 1/2hrs a day/night. For those who can put their life aside when they get home from work/school and play their heart out will be among the first who can accomplish great things in this game!

I'm 46 now and will not be one who can put in the 40hrs/wk, but I put in that and more when I was able to in my 20's/30's. Its definitely not for everyone. But do not misunderstand. You are referencing the combat guild. There will always be something to assist with no matter the amount of time you're able to commit. So in that sense you're a part of something great!

I found Overlord back in July of 2023 and I wish I found the guild during the phase of Alpha 1 testing. The guild community here is a bunch of high level players who are looking to grow the guild as a whole and that was my main criteria of finding a guild. I've been playing with Overlord since Alpha 1. They are a rare combination of competively mind folks who are also kind and willing to teach. Ashes of Creation is a game where cooperation is the way to be on top and Overlord does that well.
Leadership listens to their member's expertise and makes solid judgement calls. I hope that if you share those values of our community that you consider working with us!

I was recruited about 3 months ago and I can confirm that Overlord is a serious guild with serious goals. Our guild leader is honest about his aspirations for the coming future -- from Alpha 2, all the the way to launch.

For those who are interested in a community with complete transparency and eagerness to achieve major achievements in AoC, I definitely recommend considering applying for this guild. With Alpha 2 around the corner, I am excited to see what we can accomplish as the game evolves.

Ever since i joined Overlord, my life got way better. My dog is nicer to me now and the neighbors stopped knocking at my door wanting to show me photos of their dog. Also, a whole batch of 4 leaf clovers starting sprouting in my front yard. Overlord life is nice, but i will be looting you all that oppose us, have a nice day =D
