Dawn of the first day.
To begin with the first issue I run into on downloading and installing the game was that the ashes launcher didn't instal the anti cheat. Found a work around on the forums to install another game with easy anti cheat. Went through steam to install a game called rec room, installed, didn't fix. Had to completely install fortnite (another 69gig game) before the issue allowed me to log in. Took me till midnight of the first day, get in play a bit but have to sleep at some point. so bed ending at lvl 3.
Dawn of the second day.
As the day started I start getting errors on login to the LAUNCHER not the game. Try to repair, multiple times, try a few other solutions found on the forums, only thing that fixed the errors was reinstalling completely after totally deleting the ashes files. From there It's the que, this is understandable, queues happen. Get into the game, Crash, then proceed to spend the entire day attempting to get in and crashing and trying solutions to fix the crashing ending in me reinstalling the game again. 1 initial install, 2 re-installs. This takes most of the day, get in finally around 10pm my time and spend the time getting to lvl 5. have to sleep.
Dawn of the third day.
Today. login, goes smoothly. Press play at character select, spend 15 mins seeing the loading screen refreshing after queue. Constantly hitting 100% and then reloading after showing me a flash of my character. Alt-F4. Re queue, get in for 30 secs. Crash. Now I've had nothing but errors on the launcher login screen.
The moon is laughing at me while looming over head. I've successfully(?) tested the alpha I suppose. Hope my crashes etc helped. I'm gonna go play Baldur's gate now.

I can no longer log in since Hours. I assume this Weekend-Test is over for me. But it is what it is, i assume. At least it worked somewhat.

Once the weekend test is done, they'll likely take the next four days to work out how to improve stability, kill login issues, and harden the game against DDOS attacks. Given their update cadence so far, this stuff'll probably be handled pretty well by next week.
I admire your Ability to point out an important detail which i missed and being so optimistic and positive about it. Take my Like. 🫡 . 🫡 . 🫡
