If you are using the Mend skill, you can use the F1-8 keys to target yourself or party members, and you can change target while using consecutive presses of Mend. If you are using Mend, it heals you faster than it heals allies because there is no 'healing projectile travel time'.

By pressing f1, my target does change. Is it only the defensive one or the general one? And how does the defensive bar work with offensive and defensive skills like Judgment or Quick Wit?
Azherae wrote: » Those can change depending on which type of targeting you are using. There are also additional settings which control the behaviour of your mouse cursor and target lock-on. It's difficult to give a specific answer because of that. You should ask your guild's clerics if they are targeting with the Action Mode Camera, and if they are using the healing settings that make mouse-over healing work correctly while having an offensive target. I believe that the behaviour of the F1-keys changes only the defensive target, but I am not sure how Judgement works in all situations because of those things I mentioned above.

Oh, I've always been a fan of mouse over healing with raid frames. Does this work in Ashes? If it does can you explain to me how to setup?

I actually have not seen these in the settings as I played ranger 90% of the time and thus did not need mouse over settings (I will see if I can enable it on Friday though.) Quoting @oatmllk from the A2 forums: "there is mouseover healing, i heal with mouseover. Its in the settings called "hover healing" or something thats not exactly mouseover but means the same thing. Some of the spells do not work with it, like mend and judgement. but some spells like soothing and flash heal do. thats my most wanted QoL change rn" I bet @Leukael or any of the other cleric players from A2 can give better guidance if necessary!

Through my research on the Cleric class, I found that our guild’s clerics struggle with self-healing. I understand there’s a defensive bar, which feels odd when spells like Judgment can hit both allies and enemies, similar to Quick Wit for Bards. Is there a key setup like in other MMOs, or can I self-heal if I don’t have a target? Do you have any tips for cleric self-healing? What is your preferred way to self-heal?
