"Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource" Error

I got this error message and I'm not sure if this is something to do with the game or just a hardware issue I'm having. I've only had this issue with Homeworld 3.

Same here. Having the same crash over and over again. Nothing helped so far.

Same problem here. Running an RTX 3070 Ti. 8GB vram should be more than sufficient. Any solutions to this problem?

Extremely frustrating, and Intrepid does not help.

it says Video Memory, but it really means system memory. I didn't have these crashes until I restricted my page file to be 1GB with 32GB of physical RAM.
