    some of my family are members, others i have met through MMORPGs years ago. raiding together joking, laughing, and creating stronger bonds with eachother. thats really what always made me and my members stick together through the years/games. being lucky enough to play with people who do selfless acts for eachother is always a nice thing. like buying games for eachother even though you have never actually met

    Heh. I've always played games with my friends and family, even if we do not create out own guilds. 

    Like @Noespark, My guild is pretty much a bunch of friends who play together and we slowly pick up new friends along the way who usually share the same playstyle and interest. 

    As long as the guild isn't purely only focused on one aspect of the game (end game raiding, or pvp etc.) and have people who're generally and genuinely helpful.  it'll usually be a good fit for me.
