Caravan Cargo disappears after recieving sell Error

Purchased cargo items from commodity vendor in node X. Purchased a caravan and loaded said cargo into caravan (not put in a storage chest just loaded the items in the caravan storgae) at node X. We succefully delivered the caravan and cargo to node Y. When attempting to sell the delivered cargo from X to Y commodity vendor - using storage - now node Y cargo tab - and hover over the item.. it shows you can sell this item for 0 pennies. When trying to sell the item the commodity vendor then generates an error.
I have tried logging out and back but when i do.. the items disappear from my storage/cargo for that node and all other nodes. I cant move the items that are in my storage-cargo inventory to my regualr inventory nor can i sell them. When i do sell them or when i log out.. they are deleted or no longer show in storage or inventory. Can someone please provide some feedback. Lost for words.. this is twice now with losing two cargo trips filled with all 3 items for a basic caravan. FYI - both trips were successful from what i can tell.
